Hãy kiểm tra các tính chất của phép cộng trên hình 1.8.

+ Tính chất giao hoán

\(\overrightarrow a  + \overrightarrow b  = \overrightarrow {AB}  + \overrightarrow {BC} =\overrightarrow {AC} \)

\(\overrightarrow b  + \overrightarrow a = \overrightarrow {AE}  + \overrightarrow {AB}=\overrightarrow {AC}  \)

Do đó \(\overrightarrow a  + \overrightarrow b  = \overrightarrow b  + \overrightarrow a \)

+ Tính chất kết hợp

\(\eqalign{
& \left( {\overrightarrow a  + \overrightarrow b } \right) + \overrightarrow c \cr & = (\overrightarrow {AB} + \overrightarrow {AE} ) + \overrightarrow {CD} \cr &= \overrightarrow {AC} + \overrightarrow {CD} = \overrightarrow {AD} \cr

Do đó \(\left( {\overrightarrow a  + \overrightarrow b } \right) + \overrightarrow c  = \overrightarrow a  + \left( {\overrightarrow b  + \overrightarrow c } \right)\)

+Tính chất của vecto – không

\(\overrightarrow {AB}  + \overrightarrow 0  = \overrightarrow 0  + \overrightarrow {AB}  = \overrightarrow {AB} \)
